Users can now set their favorite songs, whether they are the latest hits, classics or really any sound for that matter, as their very own personalized Color Ring! Calls made in Beijing to phones splashed with Color Ring will no longer be greeted by that endless boring ring-tone, instead they’ll hear your very own personalized Color Ring selection. The world could always do with a little more color…so, what are you waiting for? Splash some color! Apply for Color me! With Color Ring!
Who Can get Splashed with Color:
All local Beijing GoTone, M-Zone and Easy-Own (including Easy Own Crowd Pleaser Card) users.
How to Color Me:
1. Color Me online, at www.bj.chinamobile.com (not available for Easy-Own Crowd Pleaser users);
2. Send the text message KTCL to 10086 and follow the instructions;(Chinese Version ONLY)
3. Call the 10086 self-service hotline;
4. Call the 12580 mobile secretary hotline;
5. Call the 12530 Color Ring voice system;
6. Go to the WAP on-line service hall with your phone! (Not available to Easy Own Crowd Pleaser users);
7. Color Me! In person at any China Mobile service hall in Beijing.
Go-Tone and M-Zone subscribers can apply for or cancel Color Ring service in our service halls with a valid ID (corporate users should bring a letter of recommendation from the organization and the person handling issue should bring a valid ID) or their customer service password. Easy Own subscribers can apply for or cancel Color Ring service in our service halls with a valid ID and their customer service password.
Note:
Self-service channels such as SMS, website and 10086 voice system can not be used from 19:00 to 24:00 on the last day of every month.
Tariff Standard:
Monthly Charge: 5 Yuan/month
Communication Fees: Calls made 12530 are charged according to local calling rates, and Color Ring downloads through SMS are charged according to point to point SMS fees.
Information Fees: Each successful Color Ring download is charged an information fee according to prices set by information providers and collected by mobile operators.
Color Ring! Functions:
1. Caller ID color splashing: users can set a specific Color Ring for a specific caller or group of callers.
2. Scheduled color splashing! Users can set a ring-back tone for a specific period of time during the day.
3. Default Color Ring: users can set a default Color Ring for all callers who are not set with a specific Caller ID Color Ring.
4. Color Ring Freeze! Users can freeze the Color Ring function anytime swapping back to their traditional ring tone, and resume their Color Ring as needed.
5. Personal Color Ring Bank: Save your Color Ring tones in your personal Color Ring bank. Because there are tons of great Color Ring resources out there; like songs from Hong Kong and Taiwan, original mainland hits, movie and TV soundtracks, Korean and Japanese songs and even the most popular hits from around the world, one Color Ring is never enough. Your personal Color Ring bank can hold up to 10 songs.

2. Color Ring! Ring-back tone activation will be effective for the mobile phone you use to apply for the service. Calls made with your mobile phone to apply for the service are deemed to be agreement giving authentication. If subscribers located in Beijing administrative areas apply for the Color Ring service through Beijing Mobile or other telecom operators in Beijing, callers located in Beijing Administrative Areas can hear their Color Ring ring-back tone.
