How to activate:
In Service Halls: Subscribers can go to China Mobile Group Beijing’s service halls and other cooperating halls in Beijing and its outskirts to apply for this service by presenting subscribers' ID.
To apply for this service, formal introduction letters are required for organizations as wells as valid IDs for those handling matters. (Official seals are required for organizations along with introduction letters, seals cannot be substituted by seals on the letters.)
SMS: Applications for this service via SMS will be accepted. Text the following SMS codes to 10086 to apply for different package levels:

Website: Online applications of this service will be accepted on the website. Please log onto http://gotone.bj.chinamobile.com for activation.
(Applications of this service via self-service channels including SMS, website and 10086 automatic voice systems will not be accepted on the last day of each month.)
Note:
Activation, change or cancellation of this service will be effective the month following application.
If customers make multiple alterations to the 88 Package, the last change that was made will take effect.

Notes:
The monthly charges for the above packages include the basic monthly fee (50 RMB).
Free incoming calls contained in the 88 Package refer to all incoming calls received in Beijing by GoTone subscribers of China Mobile Group Beijing. Incoming calls received when roaming are not included.
Outgoing calls the 88 Package refer to all the basic calls made in Beijing by GoTone subscribers of Beijing Mobile. The outgoing calls made when roaming are not included.
When call forwarding is activated, communication fees will be charged according to call forwarding tariffs.
From April 1st, 2007, two new services will be added to the data services of the 88 Package: Morning and Evening News and Advanced membership of the Wireless Music Club. The former data services will not be affected and the related communication fees will be charged as normal. You will be charged for the traffic caused by receiving Morning and Evening News when you're roaming abroad.Call minutes of calling forwarding set by the subscriber, and those of special service numbers such as 10086, 17201, 12580, 125906/8, 12530/1259070, 13800100600 and 13800138000 will not be included in the local free minutes of calling.
Free calling minutes included in each plan are effective only in the current month, any unused minutes will not carry over to the next month.
Special Note:
The GoTone 88 Package is not available for users of the original 88 plan, original minutes-for-handset programs, prepayment-for-call charge refund/recharge card programs, Low-Cost Incoming Call Plan, Preferential Plan for Incoming Calls, Mobile Chat Plan and Free Incoming Call Plan. Applications for the Smooth Listening Plan will not be accepted if the above mentioned services have been activated. Please make sure to cancel any previous packages or plans , or certify that your previous contract is finished before applying for the 88 Package.
